Learn to make custom designed centerpieces. I offer classes in all types of group environments. Choose the group that would be best for you and contact myself, or the institution hosting the class.

I hold classes upon request small groups or instruction. All levels in off-campus private or small group. These weekday classes are 3hrs in lenghth and are $59 total. Classes are limited to 15 students and all materials (Thai carving knife, tools, fruits & vegetables) are included.
Private intermediate and advanced level instruction is available at an hourly rate of $50. Meetings are a minimum of three hours. All required materials are provided.
Parking permits are required in all student parking lots at Mesa College, Monday through Friday from 7am-10pm. Permits are not required on Saturdays, Sundays or College Holidays. One-day parking permits are available in the vending machines in the parking lots at Mesa College. The cost is $1 per hour.
Culinary School 3hr Workshops (hands on) will be $35 per student, and attendance is limited to 10 students. All Thai carving knives, peelers, fruits & vegetables will be provided for workshops.
Community "Special Interest" Group classes are available at both San Diego Continuing Ed (West City Campus), Grossmont Adult School (Foothills Campus), and North Coastal San Dieguito Academy. These classes will have a max of 15 students.
In this comprehensive, full semester course, the only in the United States, certificate program students will gain fundamental Thai fruit and vegetable carving skills they can use to expand their culinary repertoire and compliment their culinary arts coursework. We will cover Thai style plate garnishing, ornate melon carving, vegetable flowers, fruit bouquets, vegetable bouquets, and culinary competition centerpieces. All necessary carving tools will be supplied
Thai fruit and vegetable carving, “kae sa luk”, is a 700 year old art form practiced by chefs all over the world, and a cultural treasure of Thailand.
