elcome to San Diego Fruit Carving, established in 2007 by Garde Manger Chef Laura Lynn, fruit and vegetable carving instructor trained by Wan Hertz at the Siam Carving Academy, Thailand. Laura has furthered her culinary education to include food safety and preparation, catering, and a diverse ability to prepare dipping sauces.

What We Do

hai fruit and vegetable carving, “kae sa luk”, is a 700 year old art form practiced by chefs all over the world, and a cultural treasure of Thailand. We specialize in creating beautiful Kae Sa Luk cruise ship style fruit and vegetable carving centerpieces. Being further schooled in several catering disciplines, Laura and her associates can provide full and unique, appropriate spreads. This can include the centerpieces, dipping trays, chocolate fountains, and much more.

Who We Serve

aura's shares her experience by both providing and teaching. She can offer carvings available in seasonal melons fruits and vegetables, and offer an exquisitely unique accent to your wedding reception, special event, meeting, corporate event, or any festive occasion. She also teaches her artform in the San Diego Community College District's local learning institutions, teaches in group settings, and gives more advanced instruction as well.
